Whose to say God didn't use the Big Bang to start things and has a hand in evolution?
Strictly speaking, if God has a hand in evolution, then it's not evolution, it's intelligent design. Evolution is an account of how speciation occurs, and as a scientific theory it doesn't posit additional entities beyond those necessary to explain observed phenomena, in this case the natural world. If God guided evolution, then Darwinism is false. A close account of how evolution occurred, perhaps, but still wrong.

So whose behind the intelligence in the intelligent design?
I reject intelligent design. I was just laying out the differences in the hypotheses.

@IvanKaramazov: Yes indeed. So-called 'intelligent design' is merely creationism... so, no intelligence involved
