It depends on the kind of ugly you mean ... beauty to me could be something ugly to someone else ...it's subjective

I would tell them that they are a lovely person to know, and find something to compliment them about.

I had a pretty ugly friend when I was 19. (She was about 10-15 years older than me), and she taught me that true beauty is always within. She was a thalidomide baby, so she had some pretty severe deformities, but I learned also from her that you don't have to let deformities hold you back, sometimes you just have to find a different way to do things. So...ever since my friendship with Vee, I have found it hard to judge people as physically ugly...who'm I to judge?

Find something, anything, and focus on that.

Find something I think is especially pretty about them and build my answer around that.

I don't believe there is such thing as ugly maybe some people are more attractive than others but that doesn't mean the other person isn't attractive it just makes them attractive in their own way.

I have a hard time lying..even little white lies..so they would know the answer just by looking at me lol

I'd do my best to help them feel better about themselves...handling it any other way would make me ugly inside...the worst kind of ugly

I could probably find something attractive about those who'd be close enough to seriously ask me.

I'd look right back in that mirror and say with a straight face (barely), "You are gorgeous, you sex machine, you!"

If it's someone who is a good kind gentle caring person, I would tell them honestly "You're beautiful".

If it's an asshole, I'd ask them what their mirror tells them.

Or I'd be honest and say don't ask me, because all I see is the jerk. Ask someone who likes you.
