what would you say if someone ugly asks you if they are pretty ?

I don't believe there is such thing as ugly maybe some people are more attractive than others but that doesn't mean the other person isn't attractive it just makes them attractive in their own way.

If i were to rate my looks i would say i'm prettyish but not beautiful but i just don't believe in societies idea of what is attractive or not.
