Just going to say this to the people here that are giving advice: Being a citizen of a country doesn't make you even remotely aware of the immigration procedures and processes of your country. A great deal of US citizens for that matter wouldn't even be able to pass the civics exam needed to get permanent residency in the US.
To the original poster: I highly recommend speaking to someone who studied immigration law or, at the very least, someone who has immigrated to the US with a visa in which you are trying to obtain. Immigrating to another country is a serious ordeal, and leaving it to a random forum online is only asking for trouble. That, and you're going to get occasional ignorant responses laced with racism, which isn't going to help you one bit.

Getting harder every day. Immigration is going to be much more difficult as it should be. Too many poor unskilled people trying to come here and we don't need them.
