You think a little injection is too easy of a form of execution

Killing someone is still ending a life. Knowing you are going to die on a specific date for your crime is indeed punishment. Sitting on a tiny cell 23 hours a day with no real human contact, it's punishment
Isolation like that for years can drive many to the point of insanity . It may just be a needle to you, but to the person receiving it, it is much more than that. Even if they deserve it.

if sombody earned the death penalty and really did it than make it simple like the Chinese, take them out back shoot them in back of the head and charge the price of the bullet to the family case closed, "NEXT!"

Dead is dead..There's little point in being barbaric about how it's done..
