My grandpa's death on my mother's side, and both grandmother and grandfather's death on my father's side. They left so quickly.

Not really, not even when my father or other family members died. Even when I was very little I just saw it as nature taking it's course.

Our son's best friend was killed in Iraq. He was only 19. We were all very shocked because he was only there a very short time. I am sorry for your loss.

Oh, I'm so sorry. My condolences on the loss of your friend. Losing my husband and son was the most shocking for me, and has taken the most work surviving, of course. But I'm doing it.

I died an hour and a half ago and it really bummed me out.
