has anyones death hit you or shocked you?

had a wonderful elderly lady i knew for most of my life pass away today.. very classy and loving. no one like her. very genuine and sweet. the kind of person you wish most people were like. :(

Oh, I'm so sorry. My condolences on the loss of your friend. Losing my husband and son was the most shocking for me, and has taken the most work surviving, of course. But I'm doing it.
