No. It takes a tenth of a second to heart a post. It's no true feat. Seems unnecessary imo.

No. It would require going to each profile and sending a pm, which would seem to presume one expects a response. If they use the comment section to send a heart, thus, 💟 I can then say thank you. Otherwise they can assume i appreciate the gesture.

Sometimes. If it is someone new to me, I'll check them out, read their profile and maybe heart and comment on some of their stuff. I've found some great people that way.
