Good thing to do? Yes, I suppose it is, but if you're here a lot, and write a lot of responses, and post a lot of stories, ask and answer a lot of questions, there will be an awful lot of hearts. If you decide to thank each person who gives you a heart, you won't have time to do all of the things you've been doing to earn those hearts. Then you'll start again. I get about 50 to 60 hearts each day, because I respond to a lot of people's stories and comments. Those people will just have to assume I'm grateful.

P.S. also, I really hand out a lot of hearts. I don't think I'd be thrilled to have several dozen thank you notes, in my mail every hour I'm here.

@rickoo164: I'm sorry. I'm not sure what you're asking.

@Serenitree: excuse my english serenitree, I don't even know if we have a hearts acount ?
Serenitree · F
@rickoo164: Oh, no there isn't a place where our hearts are tallied up. I just notice that out of maybe 20 notifications, 18 of them are hearts and two have responses. That makes 90 percent of my notifications are for hearts. I'm here quite a lot, I post a lot and comment even more. If I take the time to send a personal thank you to everyone for each heart I'd have no time for anything else. Also, some people heart everything I do, so, how often do I have to say thank you to them? No. People here, understand that I am appreciative. Or they soon learn that about me.

@rickoo164: I just went and counted the hearts I got in the last two days. There have been 176 hearts. It's lovely that people acknowledge us in that way, but I can't imagine sending 80 or 90 thank you notes every day.
