I deal with low self-esteem

but sometimes if triggered enough a spontaneous "assertiveness"(strength) arises within me. I don't understand how thats possible or where it comes from. At least I perceive it to be assertiveness. It can be automatic like the fight or flight response.

Tell us about your past, from there we can figure out your "triggered assertiveness" reaction's origins

Im not sure, I mean although Ive proven to be capable of being a huge coward I have also been "courageous". I've overcome some personal obstacles that I thought were impossible. I've learned how to overcome my social anxiety in the past and I've learned to believe in myself (something I'm working on again).

I have gone from being a shy, and insecure kid in highschool to this somewhat supervisor in charge of 50 or so employees at a time. I achieved this at 20yrs old. This was impossible from where I came from. I'm not a supervisor anymore but still I learned alot. Anyway thanks for your follow up 👌🙏

Tell us about your parents and your friends

Also is it spontaneous or has it become passive at this point in time?

@Metallis: sorry I'm not sure how my parents and friends are relevant here. However; to the other question: it is more passive as in only arising when truly needed but I'm guessing that happens to everyone.

I'm trying to find out why you have low self-esteem lol

@Metallis: ohh haha it's just some stuff I regret. I failed to live up to my moral expectations and I've felt terrible since.

Sounds to me like you think too low of yourself. You lack confidence in your abilities regardless of the fact that you have these "assertive" moments that are proof that you are very capable of managing yourself. I guess if you ever have doubt, just look back at those moments?

@Metallis: true true, I'm guessing the the task I was up against was beyond the scope of my abilities. I mean I can be "strong" but somethings were just beyond, I was not prepared. Anyway thank you for your concern and response 👌

Yeah sure I think you got it there. Shouldn't feel bad about things you couldn't possibly have made any better.
