I like making friends and chatting with friends. Yet I hate people as a whole xD

Sometimes people go out of their way to avoid others because they're just not in the mood to have a conversation. Other people are just naturally antisocial. I usually do the self-checkout. Makes things easier for me.

People tend to think that humans are going to be slower at grocery stores I personally do not mind the extra what 30 seconds of wait time in the normal checkout.

Yeah, and if you take too long at the self checkout there's no referee to keep the shopper behind you from hustling and pushing you to hurry it up.

I think people use the self checkout because its quicker. But I, for one, hate using them. They're too complicated for me.

Just because I prefer to check myself out doesn't mean I don't like people. In fact, I'm an introvert. I like being with people, but it drains my energy so I don't want to be with people all the time.

Lol, I always do the self checkout. I don't think its because I don't *like* people though. It's just that the average day goes by easier if I have to deal with fewer people. 🙂

Some places they make the cashiers try to upsell you on things, those are the ones it's really worth it to avoid.
