Do people not like people?

I was at the grocery store and one lane was open but the self checkout there was a line. 🙄 Do people not like other people? 🤔

Sometimes people go out of their way to avoid others because they're just not in the mood to have a conversation. Other people are just naturally antisocial. I usually do the self-checkout. Makes things easier for me.
