Really, the man-hating thing has been around for a while, even in socially-sanctioned forms. What's new is the lack of appreciation for men. Go back to the Victorian Era or Medieval times and you see that while it was common enough for either sex to disparage men and male mores in favor of more "virtuous" womanhood/femininity, men were still respected for keeping people safe, for ensuring that society continued running, and so on and so forth. Today, men still perform most of the critical tasks for these functions (most cops are men; most soldiers are men; most of the people who keep the sanitation department running, program traffic lights, engineer trains, and so on are men, etc.) but they get no recognition for it. That's what's really new. That's the truly original legacy of feminism, which otherwise just looks like old bullshit in new clothes.
Well ya, you all are more physically suited for that. You can pat yourselves on the back for that, just so long as you understand....you would look like a bunch of babies if you didn't. 40% more muscle mass, designed for heavy lift far more than females. Men work hard, but most have the backs for it and derive great satisfaction from that kind of thing. I myself....do not and I'm more than happy to let my strong husband and strong son lift and carry things I can't.
Every so often, I actually do check the comments on my posts. Things like this are why I almost never, ever respond to them. They're always one of the following: ignorant/misinformed, incoherent, or simply (as in this case) off-point. What exactly does the fact that men have greater muscle mass and bone density have to do with the running of modern society, which men still overwhelmingly do? Are you saying muscle mass has something to do with programming traffic lights? Being a train engineer? Directing flight schedules? Operating drones?
Granted, men are always going to be the grunts and footsoldiers. You don't want a bunch of women, howsoever dyke-y, unloading all the produce each morning at Wal-Mart. That's just going to cause the total number of muscle sprains and back injuries to go up.
Or are you making the stupider claim that no one ought to be rewarded for their contributions to society because those contributions were enabled by factors over which the individual had no control, e.g. being born male? Because if you want to go that route, then shut the fuck up about your periods and labor pains, because you're just baby-factories, born and bred.
I mean, Jesus fucking Christ, I make the simple point society no longer values male contributions - which it doesn't, and which is, again, in large thanks to the so-called "women's movement" (really, a "movement" of bored, rich, useless white women who can't get over their own sense of inadequacy and make it everyone else's problem) - and you somehow go to muscle mass? What the shit? What kind of leap in reasoning is this? Do you even know what the fuck a logical relation or inference is?
You mentioned several heavy lifting types of jobs and when I responded, you are now asking about the non heavy lifting type jobs. I was referring to the cops and soldiers and even a train engineer has to use some muscle. Anything with heaven equipment, you aren't just sitting at controls, pushing buttons, trying not to break a nail. Those jobs are traditionally men type jobs because they require strong backs and muscles. Directing flight schedules? I can't address that. Operating drones. I wouldn't even begein to know anything about that. The reason men do the heavy lifting full time jobs is because people have families and typically it's the mother that stays home with the kids. Society doesn't value male contributions? Says who? Boy try to compliment men and you get this kind of response. Sorry for honoring your gender and openly appreciating you. I guess I'll go sit in the corner and eat worms. Sheesh dude. calm down.
I wouldn't say i judge a person because of them being a man. i am aware of how much pressure a lot of guys have to be a certain way in this day and age. I also understand that i gave too much trust to guys who have been too lost to know how to respect others. While i cannot judge them for what they are going through, i do need to be cautious of how i much i give of myself.
I do not care. I will just be who I am. Love me or leave me! Life is too short to worry about what other people think. That is what the block button is for! I do not argue, I just block!
I know I'm too afraid to try much with girls anymore because I'm worried about being called a pervert or typical man or whatever else we might be called for flirting. No more making any moves for this guy.
This was rampant during the 80s and early 90s. Woman just fell into lockstep with it. It was hard to form a relationship. I thought it was better now. Misogyny is hatred of women, what is the term for hatred of men ? Misandry, or something like that ?
