I understand what you mean with not enjoying socializing. As soon as you know why and accept it...you will find some kind of balance. You know the zone where you feel comfort with. Not everyone is a social butterfly.

Is your family very extrovert and social?

No one in my immediate family is very extroverted, but they're definitely pretty balanced and I'm not :|

@Invisible: Do you feel strange among them?
My god! Sorry. I sound like a therapist or a mother.

I asked you the question because it's not easy to be or feel different.
I felt all my life as a rare bug among people from my country. They are, most of them, easy-going, friendly and funny. But, I understand now that the best is be faithful with yourself. In our own ways, we are all different from the rest.

I feel strange among everyone

@Invisible: You don't need to. If you could see for a single moment that you are perfect as you are. Only for the fact that you are a human being. Then, you can find people who also sees it and others who don't. This is part of life.

So, going back to the original question, no, I don't see you ending up like a hermit unless you choose to be.

Well, I feel like choosing not to would make me unhappy

@Invisible: Happiness many times only consists on that.
