When I was younger, I bought a few in a sex store and it was embarrassing. But I used to be a lot more embarrassed about things back then. It was the only way back then. I was there with a friend, but I didn't want her to know I wanted one, so I went back later by myself to get it.
Now, the ones I have I bought online and it's so much easier. of course you're kind of left guessing if you'll like it until you try it, but that's the case anyway.
Really there's nothing to be embarrassed about, but the stigma remains. I think all young women should have a couple of them.
