Ft Lauderdale

How did this guy sneak a gun into an airport. He went from Alaska to Canada to Ft Lauderdale, Florida. Was security slacking?

He transported it legally in its case, unloaded and in a checked baggage he wouldn't have access to during the flight. He got it at the baggage claim when he landed and then took it to a bathroom loaded it and then came out of the bathroom and then shot people. So basically this will probably make it so you won't be able to transport a gun by plane anymore at all.

yes, maybe. They reported he had a military ID so I;m wondering if he has PTSD. So sad.

Yeah i heard that too. so im wondering what the motive was here, too. Terrorism or depressed/suicidal etc. We'll find out hopefully.

Yes it is. I was watching a stream on the internet on cbs of their coverage of it.

His gun was checked and he pulled it out from his bag in baggage claim where he started shooting

@LireaSemaji: it was in his luggage. Yes they saw it but he wasn't in possession of it until he got it at baggage claim

You can carry a firearm but there are rules. Ammunition must be separate from firearm and firearm must be unloaded Not sure of all the rules.
