Do you think mainstream social media and the internet is making a lot of people sociopathic?

Sociopath - Antisocial personality disorder, sometimes called sociopathy, is a mental disorder in which a person consistently shows no regard for right and wrong and ignores the rights and feelings of others.

I get the sense that all the crazy things happening in our society today is being hugely influenced by this. Is our society becoming sociopathic?

I believe social media just brings a lot of the craziness to the surface. Wouldn’t necessarily say it’s the cause. But at the same time it doesn’t really make matters worse either. The world’s always been a crazy place.

A good question. They probably are not, themselves, but they may well encourage and develop existing such personal traits.
