It should not be politically incorrect to mention overweight families have little spatial awareness.

In supermarkets the not slim types are always woddling along like penguins and they never understand people are in a rush.

It should also not be politically incorrect to accuse old people of walking too
Slowly down supermarket isles with their Zimmer frames blocking access for younger self important Instagram generation types who are always in a hurry.

@Paladin that’s rather hypocritical of you.

@justanothername not at all. Due to medical issues, I can't move very fast, yet I get these people behind me who are in a rush, and have no problem being rude about it.

@Paladin Interestingly enough life could be better if we were polite to each other.
If we acknowledged that some people want to walk through the supermarket faster or slower than us and just let them do their thing then life would be a whole lot happier:)
And don't forget the people with crutches and wheel chairs. They should all be made to use a designated checkout for obstacles.
Society with reasonable transportation and work hours. Or capitalism.
You as really are owned.

But it isn't their responsibility to help people who think they're in a rush.
And they do not have jobs either, is why they wonder around aimlessly

May they trip and fall on you en masse next time you shop.

So treat them as a traffic roundabout...😷

That’s not spatial awareness, that’s speed.

Maybe Supermarkets need wider aisles.

I would claim that in this specific case you mention the problem is not with the overweight people but with the people who are in a rush.

Society as a whole needs to slow the hell down. We're giving ourselves unneeded stress, anxiety and strokes with this culture of fast, fast, fast.

That isn't to say that the diets and behaviors leading to widespread obesity isn't problematic to our health as well, but your complaint seems to be about people slowing down which is something most of us badly need to be doing.
