So how come they can have a booth and not us? Wtf

My partner and I went out to eat and the hostess wanted to sit us at a table by the door. I asked if we could have one of those booths by the back wall because i didn't want her by the drafty door. She told us no they were for parties of 3 or more and put us on a waitlist. I said ok so we sat down and waited. Another couple comes in and they get the booth I had asked about.

Why can a couple of 2 get that booth but i got told no and was made to wait for a table? We ended up going elsewhere because that ticked me off.
