I haven't, but I worked as a waitress at one point. That job sucked, but even then, I knew it could be a lot worse and I could be working in fast food. Of course, that's not to demean those who do work in fast food at all.

@Ducky oh no fastfood is a special kind of hell. Any job that deals with food and beverage is not good. You'll meet cool coworkers but that's about it

@scabs I hope you won't have to work there again.

@Ducky me neither but then again doing sex work isn't any better.

@scabs Then don’t do either. Maybe try starting your own business.

@Ducky The trouble is I'm not exactly qualified to do much. I just have a highschool diploma as far as education goes and I don't have STEM skills or medical skills or anything that can really lead to a good career. I just know how to be a cashier, work fast food, how to be a prostitute and hair and makeup stuff. I can also cook and draw and i can sing and i speak another language but i dont really see how that stuff can get me anywhere

@scabs I only have a high school diploma and I run my own office. Sometimes I’m the acting manager of the whole department. From what you just told me, you sound qualified to do a lot! Especially with hair, makeup, cooking, drawing and singing. At your age, you could easily use any of those skills to start working for yourself. Don’t sell yourself short. From the looks of it, you’re capable of so much!

@Ducky Unfortunately my age also works against me. It's harder to find work when you are older. They see my age and lack of qualifications and throw my resume into the trash heap in favor of someone young with a degree or two

@scabs All the more reason to try running your own business.
