Pulled a muscle in my back!
So yesterday I desperately needed to wash my carpet. Since getting doggy in July I have only done patch cleaning by hand and you could really see the dirt setting it!
I'm kind of ashamed to say I let it get to that state.
Anyways, I took doggy for his afternoon walk in an attempt to tire him out so much he'd just want to sleep. I went to put him in the crate and I was more tired than him. He managed to wriggle free dash out into the hallway, to which as I approached him he pretended to want to bite me then barked his head off. (no fricking way am I going in there!)
I just calmly told him, "bark all you want you're still going in..."
He kind of seemed disappointed by that and give in. Lol.
But he whined the whole time.
I hoovered first which he hates, when I returned from emptying the dust, and setting up the washer he watched very carefully to make sure he understood my every move.
In total it took me two hours to complete, including moving my furniture around.
I let it dry for a further 45 mins before letting him out.
He bolted into the room and he could knew all his favourite spots smelt different. He did roll around on it though. So I think that's a mark of approval. Lol.
Anyways I'm noticing now I clearly pulled a muscle in my back between my shoulder blades. It's really painful, I feel sort of winded tbh
😕
Anyways here's a video of carpet cleaning.
