agree or disagree: unless you get paid enough to care then you shouldn't care?

I'm just a regular employee why should I care? I don't care if I save the company money. I don't care if I find a wqy to cut waste on company product. I don't care about a customer complaint about our mashed potatoes. I'm not going to chase down the owner and help find a way to improve quality of the food because i'm not paid to give a crap. You think this company cares about you? You think this company thinks you have any value or worth? No they don't because the hiring sign is always up as a daily reminder that you don't matter and you are replaceable that's why it stays up all the time and this place is trash and nobody wants to actually be here except this one obnoxious lady I work with who inspired my question.

This lady is a regular worker grunt just like i am. She's the one running after the owner, she's the one all fussy about waste and labor for the sake of the store and all about the food we serve. We serve trash food to trash people ok next. Lady you are a joke and everytime you open your mouth you just make the job harder for everyone. Even half the managers don't care becauase they get paid barely more than I do. Unless you are salary or the owner or the ceo why care?

Maybe if you pay me enough to care and treat me with respect and like I actually am a real human perhaps I will show a single shred of caring. As for the customers oh hell no I will never care about you. I'm just here for a paycheck pal.
