How do americans feel safe in their houses? certainly american in movies?

they look and feel like they are made out of papier-mache!

Yeah I've always thought it funny too. Some states, they use timber and brick or even stone by but yeah, a lot of places have really secure doors attached to walls you could pretty much just power your way through with relative ease.

@agetheweebeast i was watchign a youtube video where they were testing a weapon and it slams in a door, and it was a regular american looking door and it looked like 2 pieces of paper with some cardboard in the middle! (it was an actual door)
