Did any of you ever try to lucid dream?

Yeah it happens whenever i tell myself i want it to happen before i fall asleep. However its not real lucid dreaming. I doubt anyone can actually fully lucid dream because its a different part of the brain that decides what youre going to dream. I can sometimes control what happens, i understand that its a dream, but at the same time i try to phone my mother into real life because i know im dreaming... Yeah work that one out.

@Dan193 One time I dreamt of my entire family being freakshows, like they would have limbs missing, distorted appearances, my sister was crawling on the floor with her bottom half missing. Really messed up stuff and it freaked me out while they were all walking towards me. Then my mother with her warped appearance sat down in the couch and told me to sit with her. She then said "Martin obviously you realize this is just a dream, this is just ridiculous.". We then went on a picnic in a sunny park and I pulled my sister behind me on a red cart. 🤣

It was a nice picnic, but sometimes I'd look at my deranged family and feel like it's still a bit fucked up lol

Also thats why I stopped watching anything that is remotely scary or horrorish. I dont want embellish my imagination with that sort of stuff.

@Dan193 I've thought about that too, and i find that it's very difficult to actually dream in art-styles. Your brain just puts too much detail into everything, it's not happy with flat images.
