Are you easily influenced?

Today I had a meeting and my lips were dry and I was a little dehydrated...
This happens a lot when I'm anaemic I can drink and drink and drink yet nothing seems to stay in my body.
No I'm not diabetic.
Anyways I had applied lip salve before arriving it had clearly soaked it up very quickly. Because when I sat down to speak the moment I moved my lip, it cracked. It didn't bleed but it definitely cracked.
I licked them and continued.

I don't know what happened after that. If I had starting foaming at the sides of my mouth or if it it just looked painfully dry to her. But I noticed she grabbed her bag and took out her carmex.
Knowing about my lips and what she was doing I resisted the urge to grab mine. Because Im tired of people "influencing" just offer me a glass of water... Or something...
Anyways it was bugging her because I noticed that she grabbed some blue tac that was on her desk and started fiddling with it...

I'm quite a determined person but I'm also incredibly stubborn. Whenever I see this trait in people I always do the exact opposite of what they want me to do...

Am I weird for this?

Instead of water, try drinking Gatorade or any sports drink with electrolytes. It will restore your ability to hydrate properly.

You start foaming at your mouth and she's just desperately applying carmex, piling it on, hoping you'll do the same 🤣

@Stereoguy it's really not that big a deal.
Basically when I'm anaemic no amount of lip salve will fix this.
The lips are lighter in appearance and they crack.
To make things worse, if I do add lip salve sometimes the skin flakes and sticks together which of course looks worse.
Sometimes I think some people should focus on these things less...
