The previous games were targeted towards children. The primary target audience of the books and movies.
Those kids have grown into adults and the fanbase has grown exponentially. Because of this a more advanced, mature game was the only option. Not only that, something the audience hasn't seen yet. Something to further expand the lore. Something most everyone likes.
I've already pre-ordered it and still giddy with anticipation.

@RedwoodBarman thats awesome. I never thought of it that way. I didnt rrally like the other games because they were pretty much reenacting the movies, so nothing new.
Here I like that u can create your own character and that it's somewhat of an open world, it's not a straight plot line you have to follow.
