In US system there are teaspoon, cup, pint, quart, gallon for measuringg the liquid, but in the SI system it uses millilitre, litre, decilitre,kilolitre like that mili-, deci-, kilo- prefixes. so it's so easy to remember. all you have to remember is the base unit, in here it's litre. The rest are just prefixes whereas in the US system it's a whole a lot of new words.
