Why do people keep saying I’m 6ft when I’m 5’11” 3/4?

I mean even my own family does this to me. Some of the ladies look me saying how jealous they are of my beautiful height and I am so lucky. They’re like under 5’5”
Even my older sister envies my height and she’s only 5’2 in a half.
My late mother (her step mom) was 6’2”
Anyways even my doctor round my height to 6ft. I told her to put 5’11”3/4 but she said it’s better to round it and there’s no sense of putting that when she can put 6ft.
People don’t listen!!! I AM 5’11” 3/4 NOT 6 FEET!!!! QUIT SAYING 6ft!!!!!!

Honestly, nobody will take the time to say 5'11 and 3/4 inches. The only time you hear terms like that used is when you are speaking to a young child who will throw a tantrum if you aren't exact. But you are an adult, and need to understand that expectating people to say that is unreasonable. It rounds up to 6 feet. And anyone looking at you is going to see someone who is six feet tall, because a quarter of an inch is not noticeable.

Being self-conscious about your height is something you need to try and work through rather than getting mad about people saying 6 foot when that is essentially what you are. You are not a little kid, and you know that 1/4 of an inch makes zero difference. I get you don't like being tall. But you cant change it, nor that people who look at you see you as six foot because the naked eye can't detect that literal fraction of an inch. But when you know your height will NOT change, the most you can do is try to change your mindset and love yourself for who you are. Tall women are often models. It's often seen as sexy. My best friend is 4'11 and would love to be tall. Everyone wants what they don't have. But you are who you are, and if people judge you based on your height, they arent worth having around anyway. But getting mad over people rounding up a fraction of an inch is unreasonable and not going to help your self-esteem. Thats just projecting.
