Any young people who will be starting university in a few weeks, do not abandon a sense of decorum in the absence of parental supervision.

I speak primarily of fashion. Obviously it is normal for the young to want to extenuate their individuality but please don't abandon all vestiges of self restraint and dye your hair blue and yellow just to prove to other young people that you have a personality and hold currently acceptable political beliefs.

Also don't get tattoos either.

To be fair, that is the time of life you are free to go out and have fun and make some mistakes before a career and a family tie you up. Everyone needs to live before they die. 馃檪

@WintaTheAngle Yes but while wearing obscenly jarring colours on your hair and clothes might be a mistake, tattoos represent a permanent mistake.

But when you like or care about someone you like them no matter what they wear. That's why it's important to be supportive of how your children dress or choose to express themselves. @MsBellows

I'd be careful not to shame them for expressing themselves. @MsBellows
