Can anyone help with fashion advice?

I have a wedding to go to in the UK (I'm from Aus) and I am absolutely clueless about fashion. I've picked out a jumpsuit but don't know what to wear with it? I obviously need something to cover the top because it'll be cold. Will also need a coat I guess and no idea what type of shoes. Any ladies have any ideas?!?! Please help a clueless girl out! I don't have any female friends. 😅

hmmm i'd def avoid white. that's a no-go. does it have a dress code? black tie / smart casual etc?

otherwise i'd suggest asking the bridal party themselves. no harm in asking n it shows you wanna make the effort and dress appropriately.

personally at my Bf's brothers wedding i wore a nice plain black dress. not too short (about knee length/just above. it was cute but most importantly doesn't stand out too much or overshadow the bride. :D

@bugeye I think it's smart-casual, nothing too sophisticated. I was thinking white probably wasn't a good idea, but thought the jumpsuit would be alright because the pants had a fair bit of colour. 😅

i'd wear something pretty but simple. something like the above. if there's a color theme go for that instead of black,

@bugeye That does look nice actually. And would a flattering winter coat go with that? I'm also not good with heels so would have to wear either flats or fancy boots.

@maybesomeday you can wear flats with something like this. a nice coat could match but most likely it would be too warm to wear once you're in the wedding/reception. nice for going to/from the venue though
