If small pieces of gravel get into a garbage disposal, will it break it, ruin it?

I've had that a few times and as long as it's a couple of small pieces you'll probably be okay. It will be noisy at first, but it should grind down. Much more than a couples of pieces, I'd want to try and clean it out.
