@DrSunnyTheSkeptic To deceive others is not right,whether the deceit is discovered or not.And yes,I absolutely believe we are held accountable in this life for how we proceed in the next,it makes absolute sense.

@pedrohedgerow Sure I agree about lying. I'm not of same mind as you for the next bit. I think that religion is just a witty way to unite, control and keep people in check by making them believe in punishment from a greater being and to answer hard questions that we can't answer yet. This would imply that humanity is unique in the universe as in importance. The universe is so huge that we cant even fathom it, who knows how many sentient species exist thinking similar things, my only regret is that we wont know any of that in our lifetime.

@pedrohedgerow I do believe it was made with good intentions, sadly humanity has a way of corrupting things for its own greed for power. What i notice in nature is that the smarter a species is the more likely they discover cruelty, tormenting for their own fun, dolphins do it, so do orcas and humanity needs a bind to keep it from chaos and evil and unfortunately a lot of people need the fear of god in order not to be cruel, not that it stopped everyone....

@pedrohedgerow Indeed friend, humanity is not so simple unfortunately as all kinds of things drive this negativity, not just hate but also doubt, fear and uncertainty. How can one person be sure the other one wants them to be well.
