Would you rather take Uber/Lyft to work for 20-25 minutes and pay more or ride the bus for an hour and a half to get to work and pay less? And why?

Like say Uber/Lyft takes to work and back like 20-25 minutes and you pay $16-$20 dollars or they buses you pay like $2-$4 (depending on where you live) and the whole trip takes you an hour in a half.
