Why do some people cry when they get yelled at or scolded at?

If you get yelled or scolded at, THAT ‘S your fault! Probably because you weren’t listening, being nasty or being a sensitive baby. We’re not responsible for your feelings so if you need to cry, take your ass outside! Especially if you’re grown!

Emotional reactions can be irrational and overwhelming, emotions don't normally come from a place of logic, and aren't always controllable.
If anything, it sounds like you're galvanising yourself in your learned abusive behaviors, instead of learning to empathise and realise that throwing tantrums at people is just as abnormal. Throwing tantrums is worse than crying, due to the tyranny you are trying to impose. But yes, some people are emotional terrorists, and feign crying as a ploy to get their way; which is also a form of abusive behavior.
