Have you ever received a parking ticket

Only when I lived on Joy Street, up above the State House in Boston. I was really young, and asked a friend of the 2nd ex what I was supposed to do with the tickets? He said to throw them on the ground....😳... Unfortunately....I did. The car was registered in my father's name. He was a LITTLE upset.
