Is anyone scared for this country right now?

I am. When Trump was told during his campaign that his followers were attacking people they thought were here illegally, Sikhs and other groups they mistook for Muslims, his reply was a shrug and "My supporters are very passionate." After he was elected and was told, he pretended to be surprised and said, "That makes me sad. I would say to them, 'Stop it. Stop that', if that helps." And the same groups that reported all the protests as "riots" (including a couple of completely peaceful ones I attended personally) are claiming that hate crimes are "mostly faked or exaggerated". I have no idea what's coming down the pike, but I'm not terribly optimistic.
