And there's the partisan bullshit. Can we for once stop with the this side, that side crap and look at the reality. People are being harassed and hurt because they look different than others. That in itself should bring pause or does it only matter when it's against your side?

In the UK, the police are required to classify as a hate crime any alleged crime which the "victim" says was a hate crime - regardless of the evidence, and regardless of whether anyone is convicted of an offence.
