Tbh most women's natural eyebrow shape is better than anything they over pluck.

We’ve known forever that make up, even the expensive stuff, is damaging to the skin. Dyeing our hair is damaging. We’ve known for a long time that high heels are damaging. Tanning is potentially cancerous. Waist trainers are in style, which can be damaging. In the end, we all pick our poison lol 🤷🏻‍♀️ @Mellowgirl

@CrazyMusicLover Darker skinned folks used bleaching creams, lighter skinned people lay out in the sun risking skin cancer to get tan. Yes, it was all inevitable. 🙁

I associate this habit to TV. If you watch much Asian TV, you will quickly come to the conclusion that most Asian TV celebrities are Mestizo/Mestiza (half/half ancestry or very light skinned). Consequently many of Asian decent use these whitening creams/make up. When I lived in Asia we used to refer to people using them as "GHOSTS"......

@Mellowgirl I think at some level they know it's not healthy but they lack a lot of things to make that distinction for themselves. There is a lot of deeply unrooted stuff going on beneath such actions.

But technology teaches us about safe ways of doing things, necessary procedures and in this particular case a highly dangerous one that makes you look like an alien.

It's not flattering or enhancing it's darn right scary!
