Do you believe homosexuality is a choice?

If you do, than you'd have to believe heterosexuality is a choice too than I'm assuming. So do you remember at what age you decided to be straight? And what made you come to that conclusion?

Nope. because I tried being gay as a choice and it didn't stick.

My sexuality is something I grew into. I certainly wasn’t born this way. So I’d say it was a choice for me. I’m basically demi-sexual which means I’m attracted to people I’m emotionally close to. I make the choice to love them though, or I can make the choice not to. That all depends on who they are in relation to me.

Sexuality is complex issue that I am sure we don't fully understand, any more than our predecessors who tried all sorts of aversion therapy. Although I thought I might be bi, when I was about 20 - and slept with a few guys - I hold deeply unpopular views in the current climate. There's no doubt in my mind that homosexuality is a mutation - without reproduction our species would die - but it's not contagious! I think Society has moved too far in the opposite direction where pioneers like Germaine Greer and, more recently, JK Rowling are vilified.

Much like a taste bud no it's not a choice. It's what you feel
The desire is innate. How you respond is the choice.

I want everyone to be happy straight or homosexual ……I love people I look for what’s in their heart I don’t care who they sleep with as long as their happy.
Sometimes not always.

Someone who isn’t completely straight or gay can increase their behavior in the other direction, but its not their essence.
