Why do people care about you less when you become an adult?

People expect me to get over it when I get hurt but when is a child they comfort them.

People didn't care when I was a child either 😂 When I cried I was either ignored or yelled at so🙃

Because children don't have the coping skills yet. Adults generally do. Though we should still be compassionate to adults who are hurting.
