Pretty obvious answer, isn't it? The more the right wing terrorists holding office across the nation take apart our already far too weak gun control laws the more mass shootings there are.
And states like Texas actively encourage this sort of horror by their constant efforts to put as many firearms as possible in virtually ever single hand they can find that isn't currently holding one.
