Ever learn something about your parents that shocked you?

I guess my dad fell into a group of not so great people and dealed drugs for awhile and was big into gambling. That's the real reason they came to the states. A fresh start. I feel lied to.

Actually yes, obviously you expect something mildly dodgy in everyone's life but my mum was outwardly a decent woman that wouldn't in a million years have any form of affair and she definitely wouldn't pretend to have a kidney infection and pretend to need dialysis every two weeks 30 miles away to facilitate having this affair, equally she was super honest and definitely wouldn't carry on claiming my grandmothers pension for 5 years after my grandmother died, oh except that she did and possibly more.
