Ever learn something about your parents that shocked you?

Actually yes, obviously you expect something mildly dodgy in everyone's life but my mum was outwardly a decent woman that wouldn't in a million years have any form of affair and she definitely wouldn't pretend to have a kidney infection and pretend to need dialysis every two weeks 30 miles away to facilitate having this affair, equally she was super honest and definitely wouldn't carry on claiming my grandmothers pension for 5 years after my grandmother died, oh except that she did and possibly more.

Yes my mum had an affair with her husband's cousin. Her husband found out and left her and always denied being my dad and wouldn't even acknowledge me. She always denied it.
