Friend adding practices

Color me curious, but I can't for the life of me figure out why people want me to add them as a friend, but then I never hear from them when I do. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Don't ask someone to friend you and then go silent. Kind of rude when you think about it.

Most sites allow to add friends and you don't even need to have a clue who they are or what they believe in or what they like. You just have a lot of "friends" on a list.

You can follow people. Maybe they just want to follow you to see your posts. 🤷🏻‍♀️ You don’t have to add them as friends.

@Degbeme Yep, life is all good here. :) No complaints. 😘

I'm curious as to what their excuse is for doing that because I'm about to drop some people too

@SmoothKnight
oh well. what can you do?
SmoothKnight · 51-55, M
@Jeremi

Nothing. It's not a huge deal, but I just wonder why they do it 😅

it's annoying as hell, honestly 🤣

Maybe they like what you post? I'd think you could talk to people here, but not add them? I'd feel weird adding people without messaging them, when we don't know each other.....
Following someone doesn't affect the person being followed, so why would they ask you to add them at all, regardless of messaging? 🤔
