I very rarely see these 80's or early 90's model vehicles on the road anymore. Do you ever see them?

A few I can think of are. Chevy Beretta, Pontiac Grand Am, Ford Tempo, Ford probe.. I loved Ford Probes. (My boyfriend bought a probe after I pointed them out and it was so comfortable and seemed so sleek at the time) lol

I think the short time-between-failure, along with their design flaws, lack of enthusiasm to fix their flaws, and lack of dependable maintenance made them far too expensive to keep on the road, and served mostly to send us to Honda and Toyota for better designed, built and maintainable automobiles. Chrysler is gone, GM would be gone except for a government bailout and Ford stays in business because of a patriotic sense that we should buy American made.
