I caugh a cold yesterday should I stay home today?

My nose is still runny, I’m not coughing much and I still have a little cold. I work with kids. My nose is still congested. I’m not coughing, sneezing or anything. Just a little cold and a congested nose. Yesterday I wasn’t feeling well. I was coughing a bit, congested nose, a cold and headache and nose kept running. I’m debating if I should stay home from work today or not. I have things going on this week so I can’t miss them. We have PTO (paid time off) and PSL (paid sick leave).

Girl get you f*cking ass up and go to work! Staying home over a little cold? Please. If you’re not coughing. Sneezing a lot and have a little cold a congested nose, then go to work! If you have important shit going on this week, then you shouldn’t miss out on that. I went to work when I was a little sick but I still went. I’m not using up all my PTO. They expect you to be there GO TO WORK!

@DreamyCrush I ended up going. My boss is there a shadow keep me from coming to work you’re not expected to be there even with a tiny little cold.

Yes, you should. Take care of yourself. Plenty of vitamin c and zinc. Maybe some chicken noodle soup to take the edge off

@SW-User Yeah. I am not coughing, sneezing or anything. I asked and they said it’s okay to come in and I can just wear a mask around the kids if I feel comfortable. A little cold should not keep me from coming to work. If I was sneezing a lot, coughing a lot then they would tell me to stay home.
