Converted to my currency "poor'.

But I like my job atleast.

Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
I have always felt fortunate to live In a country(America) where poor(for many) is having all the necessities of life. (Shelter, food, transportation, medical care)

Lower middle class is where we'd fall , but been poor according to this chart.
Never felt poor.

It makes me angry that some people have to live in cardboard boxes and beg for food while others live in luxury

Below poverty line
I have always thought that it is not how much you make, but rather.... how you spend it,
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Threepio I'm the same but with rising costs its scary what's considered a decent salary!
@Mellowgirl I guess I don't feel the current inflation as much because we plan a weeks' worth of meals based on the weekly sale flyers from the many grocery stores that are close by.

That and we don't use much gasoline. Unless we go on a road trip, we only have to fill the cars once a month, if that.
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Threepio nice, organisation!
That's just the USA though $32 k is a lot in my country (Egypt) millions of people don't come near it. I guess it's equivalent to middle class in USA. So, definitely poor in my case.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@PiecingBabyFaceTogether In the USA it is misleading, too, since it all depends on where you live and the local cost of living. Housing costs in particular vary widely across the US, as do salaries for the same jobs.
@ChipmunkErnie That makes sense it's a large country.

What groups comes after upper middle class? asking for a friend

Cantsayno · 51-55, M
Right in the middle of middle class
Vetrov · 61-69, M
$110,000 AUD is your middle class 😡
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
It's not what you make that matters it's how much you give to help others to lift them up. That's what gives you class. There are a lot of billionaires with no class whatsoever.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
I grew up lower-middle class
iamelijah · 26-30, M
