No, the compromise is what happens at the end. You can debate for hours before coming to that point.

Sure but it kind of makes the whole debate pointless because it ended the same way it began: with you and the other having opposing views and not seeing eye-to-eye.

@Tinkerhell: nope when you have a debate and come to a mutual agreement, that is a compromise...you neither win nor lose.
