If you have/had a house, would you lock your doors or just let anyone have access?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I think that may have been a rhetorical question. @Addictedtoglamour
MarineBob · 56-60, M
@beckyromero my thoughts on the borders

@MarineBob
my thoughts on the borders
So, I take it you have walls all around your property?

(Did Mexico pay for them?)

Secret6620 · F
The best communities in my opinion are the ones that are gated. Cuts down drastically on theft. I currently live in luxury condos that's in a gated community.
acpguy · C
If you are living in an area that has a liberal controlled local government, then a gated community is probably a good idea as it will afford somewhat better protection from those that have gotten away with serious criminal activities in the recent past but were released by the woke liberal forces. How ever living in a gated community might also mark the area for attacks by the liberals like BLM and white sympathizers as they will think you are part of the elitist conservatives which is a misconception as most elitists are wealthy liberals / socialists / globalists and new world order folks.
Addictedtoglamour · 31-35, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I don't do any of those things lol
acpguy · C
@Addictedtoglamour Are you a liberal / socialist or fence sitting independent which is another name for weak liberal?
Addictedtoglamour · 31-35, M
@acpguy I guess I'm somewhere in between. I'm not super liberal but I'm not super conservative either.
i think they are over priced condos in shit neighborhoods
Addictedtoglamour · 31-35, M
@Nunlover Sometimes even in better communities trashy people from other communities like to filter in and cause problems. It's like why mansions have security systems. A place like that is a target
acpguy · C
@Nunlover It appears this guy might be a woke liberal as he still lives with his Dad at 31 - 35 years old.
Addictedtoglamour · 31-35, M
@acpguy I moved back to my home state and needed somewhere to go and get back on my feet.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
I lived in a gated community, but it was a single family home on several acres, and I loved it. I suppose an apartment complex is different, but I’d choose gated, especially if they have security.
Addictedtoglamour · 31-35, M
@Carissimi I currently live with my dad the house has gates. I'd like to get out of here because he drives me nuts. I'm glad to hear you had a positive experience.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
I hope you enjoy living in your new home. @Addictedtoglamour
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
I think they're ironic...

as many of the politicians that live in gated/walled communities oppose a national border wall...
MarineBob · 56-60, M
@wildbill83 but those same politicians will give money other countries to build one
@wildbill83 And let’s not forget, many of those who live in gated communities may also have an armed security service for their protection.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
Lucky. I wish ours was gated maybe we would stop having so many people trying to get into peoples cars at night and sneaking into the complex
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Am I inside or outside?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Oh so you’re inside and I’m outside. Got it. @acpguy
acpguy · C
@jackjjackson How did you get out?.................Oh I know now, I voted for Trump.🤣
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Ditto but I got out before the election. @acpguy
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Remember that gated communities can keep people in as well as out..😷
Lilnonames · F
@whowasthatmaskedman it's called jail
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Are the gates to keep the crazies in or out?
Addictedtoglamour · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 Hard to say
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
I kind of think they are over price and really strict rules
MarineBob · 56-60, M
Less riff raff
Addictedtoglamour · 31-35, M
@MarineBob exactly
Indy74 · 46-50, F
I live in a regular house in a small neighborhood in a small town. I feel just as safe here than anywhere else. I would feel like a prisoner if i lived in a gated community!! Thats just my take.
Out of touch with the majority of people, thats for elderly people only.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
@checkoutanytime you're not far away
@MarineBob im not 25/30, i earned my piece of mind, they just push a keyboard.
Dino11 · M
I never liked them, but in many dangerous cities they are essential for your safety. My son
lives in one in Las Vegas.
pentacorn · F
seems like they have more security than the avrg neighborhood. no surprise visitors, at least
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
If that is what you want, there is more safety in a gated community.
Fluffybull · F
A weird way to live.

@Lilnonames 👌👏👏👍😉

I use to go there. Nice Neighborhood but we got fucked by Landlord's stupidity.

A retired Cop who came from Paradise that was burnt down want to rent our place we been renting.

It was fucked up but let'em have it. We got a better house anyways afterwards
Keeps the garbage out
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
I kinda do. Train tracks and a bike trail are behind the garage a few hundred feet. There's a berm, brush and two fences. No one would be stupid enough to try to come through that way. I don't pay any extra for it
Pointless. I think it heightens my chances are dealing with the kind of people I don’t like.
ravenwind43 · 51-55, F
I would never live in one. Neighbors to close and I don't want to be penned in.
ravenhill · M
i would really like to live in one, i like the idea of them.
Addictedtoglamour · 31-35, M
@ravenhill I used to in the past in a condo. It was nice.
SW-User
I wouldn't mind living in one.
sounds very white :)
Addictedtoglamour · 31-35, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Sounds like I'd fit right in then.
ZombiesAteMyArm · 41-45, M
Too many gates
SW-User
