I wouldnt want to jump to judgments and call it a lack of awareness. I think it is just one of the mysteries of the heart. What we actually know about the universe is presumably a miserable pittance compared to what there is to know. Perhaps some things are unknowable. I saw a movie recently where a man says, The wind does not speak because it has an answer. The wind speaks because it has a song.
